They are the same exact thing. I believe bulky is in the UK and Canada and chunky is in the US by some makers. Just make sure you get your gauge right and it will be beautiful.

All you need to do is figure out the stitches per inch/centimeter. If the gauge is, say, 3 stitches per inch then any yarn with that gauge will work...doesn't matter what they call it!
