My friend's ex stoled her password, and changed it, and she can't log into her email, somehow he installed a program in her pc where it recorded each key she presses and finally got her password.
He changed the password and her security question, so there is no way to log into it...
help?

Well, she has a small business and most of her clients contact information is located there along with business receipts (business outside of US)

Close the account and open a new one. Get someone to remove the key logger from the pc. Then make sure to get far away from the ex. If he tries it again, call the cops and press charges.'

You might not be able to log on ever again unless you get the password out of him. If you cannot, I would look into getting the account closed. And remove the key logger and him from her life.

haha send a viris to his comp u dont need to do this via email u can put it on a site that u made up or send it from another persons email account and it will stuff his whole comp up and it will damage the software that he used to get the password or u could just get another email account

she can change it back if she remembers the answer to the question. click on "forgot my password" and follow the steps. But is best to make another email address

the same thing happenned to me just recently. unfortunatally youre friend is just screwed. i had to start all over again and get a new account on yahoo. different username and password. and i have no way of getting back to my saved email. and they also hacked into my ebay account so i cant use that anymore. it sucks bad. but you just have to start over again.

Contact the internet provider and have the account shut down. Or just tell everyone what has happened and to ignore mails from that account.

get a hacking software and hack in 2 ur email and change ur password or get yahoo antispy and blow the hacker

jus deactivate ur account ,it will take 90 days to completly remove the database of ur account and after 90 days u can reactivate it ........

tell her to get another email address and make sure she doesn't give away her password...tell her to ignore the resent one...
