does anyone know how to color plexi glass and what do i use?

You have to coat it with something as it will not absorb any coloring. Do you need it to be solid or translucent? You can try semi-transparent spray paints available at good craft stores or use translucent adhesive vinyl. Sign shops use this vinyl for the graphics on backlit signs. If you need solid colors, they also make non translucent vinyl.

Krylon Paint is for Plastic, and works well.

Note:
When selecting a paint other than "Krylon", make sure its waterbased latex. Plastic & Acyrlics are very sensitive to solvents, such as oil paint.
