Ive heard of naked sky diving weddings, and even a man marrying a horse....and then peter andre, which was pretty much the same thing.
My own 2 weddings were pretty weired, gretna green one, and the other, a reception at home....and the electric metre went in the middle of it.
Im divorced now...twice, thankfully. I think people get married cause theyre bored, and falling out of love, and think the commitment will help.....its the kiss of death....

I went to an outdoor wedding by the ocean. Everyone was told to wait in a specific spot by the water and by the tents for the bride and groom to come. The couple is another of those adventurous types, so everyone chit-chatted and wondered how they would be arriving at the wedding. We looked across the water, we looked toward the sky, we looked all around.. until someone finally spotted them rowing across the bay in a crew shell. The bride had on her beautiful white wedding dress with flipflops and the groom was all dressed up - with flip flops. It was really cute to see them come ashore that was and it was really sweet. So we all sat down for the "ceremony" at which point they started playing a video. All members of the family and all friends were shocked and delighted to find out that we had all been tricked and they had actually been married a week or so prior in Hawaii. We enjoyed a nice meal with them and dancing overlooking the ocean on a beautiful sunny summer day. It was a wonderful day...

Went to a relavtive's wedding once where the bride and groom had to stop at the bar on the way to the reception, even though the reception was being held in a hall with a bar attached. Locals made the food in giant "bins." The ash trays on the tables were tuna cans without labels. The bride was so drunk, she never even acknowledged most of the people who came. We drove 350 miles for this!

I've been to one, my mate has a thing about the wild west so we all had to dress up in cowboy and Indian dress, it was quite bizarre and the bride came down the aisle in a wedding dress come Indian squaw outfit complete with veil and feather headdress, totally strange.

I seen one where they dressed up, like halloween style, the bride, groom and the wedding party, a little weird. Another I saw, the bride was obsessed with Cinderelle, so it was all cinderelle them, the guy wore the same suit as in the story, and her dress was like it right down to the glass slippers. Strange, but to each their own, whatever floats your boat! lol
