I am so glad sombody asked this question so I can finally clear this up. Jet Li's FEARLESS is his final Martial Arts Wushu film. This film is his final EPIC film, like Once Upon A Time In China, The Legend, Fist Of Legend, and Tai CHi Master. He will be doing more Action Films like Unleashed and Cradle 2 The Grave. He says that those epic Martial Arts Wushu films are made to explore the Martial Art and Philosophy. He said on an Interview last night that he has nothing else to say. Each of his Epics said something about the Martial Art he performs. Quite frankly, I'm happy he is sticking to Action Movies now. I got tired of Epics after House Of Flying Daggers, not saying they aren't good, I just got tired of them. They are nice to look at though. His next Film, ROUGE, stars him and Jason Statham and comes out in 2007. (Same year as Rush Hour 3, I can't wait for that one, oh, but Jet's not in that, I'm going off on a tangent, sorry, I just love Action movies, not EPICS.) I do think they should be more clear with the advertisements because that is a very common missunderstanding. When ROUGE comes out, people are gonna be like: "Hey, he said he wasn't doing anymore movies!!". Oh, well, I'm looking forward to all the films from both Jet Li and Jackie Chan, and I guess if Tony Jaa does an American film. I like Tony Jaa but he might as well just do a live stunt show for Six Flags cause the overall movie is blaaah. I can see those fights on YouTube.

He's retiring from action films. He feels he's getting too old. He will probably do other types
A shame. I love Jet Li's movies. I'll still have Donnie Yen for a while, though... :)

Hello,
Jet Li is retiring. Supposedly he has made comments that he is getting tired and "too old" to do these kinds of movies. I know he also said that he is amazed Jackie Chan still has the energy in him to do his moves and be as active as he is!

He feels he is at an age when he should stop and not risk the caliber of injuries Jackie Chan has sustained
