I think Is her turn now , since the williams are now old and getting tired it is her chance to shine.

It's not a matter of whether she continues at that level, but whether OTHERS do as bad as they did during the Open. For one, she surely would have been eliminated in the semis had Justine-Henin-Hardenne been playing HER level... but she wasn't. Sharapova doesn't play too well, it's just that everyone else plays worse sometimes.

That is a HUGE if. The pros can bring a level of intensity to the Slams that they could not do week in and week out. I think she is a great player, but not yet a dominant one. There is always a possibility though...

i think not because there are some other fantastic players, for example Tatiana Golovin( sharapova beat her 7-6 7-6 in US open quarterfinal, she is 19) also anna chakvetadze(also 19) maria kirilenko, nikole vaidisova( only 17!!), also ivanovic and jankovic are young so in the next years tennis will be very interesting
