Not only are they depressed, but they might have other things going on too. They need to see the light of day...and go to a doctor.

98% hmm well depends some what on what there doing in there. My computers and radios are in what used to be a bedroom and I spend a lot of time in here. Now if your just laying around in bed watching TV or sleeping 98% of time yep sounds like a problem.

Sounds like you have it pegged.
But, I'm not depressed or anti social and here's why I spend time in my bedroom.
Sleeping
Computer work
Bill paying
Internet surfing
Music sound system
Comfortable chairs for reading
Sewing machine
Attic access
So if that person has a set up like that, then the situation is entirely different.'

not necessarily...but could be. When depression first hit me I didn't want to go out of my apartment. They could just be a loner that likes wanking off a lot...but humans do desire contact, so some contact is beneficial and normal.

How old are they? Male, or female? I know that my sister's ex-husband, used to go to the video rental store, on his weekend's after picking up, some Meth, and he'd lock himself up in his room for the whole weekend watching Porn, and doing his thing with his you know what, all week-end!! Thats why, their "Devorced" now... So, it could be "Depression" it could be drugs, it could be their teenagers, who just want to spend time alone, to find theirselves.. It could be a teen who, just wants to talk on the phone to his/her friends alot.... Who knows? I would definately try to talk to this person, because, if something happened, you will later, blaim yourself, for not going "Fishing" so to speak.. Or go through their friends if they have any.. If their "Loners" than I would worry... unless, their the types, who read alot, while in their room.. Just find out what the reason for so many hours in their room... Just to be safe, you know..... Good-Luck, to you... and them..
