The best home made facial mask I've made (and I've tried lots including tomato) is avocado.
It is a little tricky to apply because it is rather slippery but with minimum facial movement, allow this to dry before washing off. You'll face feel like velvet, Rose cheeks and a glow about you.

Do a skin test on the inside of wrist first but most should be OK with this and it is great for the skin.
It cleanses and moisturizes so no need to moisturize after doing the mask.
Once a week treat for ya to try ;)
Hm mm, I gotta take this tip to my 360 :D

I applied tomato slices on my face before. It's to get rid of acne and blemishes. It actually makes a person's face a lot smoother and healthier-looking. You should try it and it is NOT gross; they're just tomatoes. I wish you luck.

I wouldn't simply because I don't want to smell like a tomato! lol Rubbing a tomato on your face sounds nasty. There are other ways to minimize pores.

whoa, i've never heard of that tip before, but i do know that tomatoes are full of antioxidants and their seeds can act as a gentle scrub for your skin. so yeah, i think it's logical that tomatoes can lighten up your skin. it'll only do good for your face if you try it out.

I wouldn't do that, tomatoes are VERY acidic and could cause a rash or a break out of pimples.
