A very rough translation:

Pope: Islam has been known to be violent and is spread by the sword.

Islam: Take it back, pig, or we'll kill you and any other Christians we see... oh wait we already do... apologize now!

Pope: Forgive me, i beg you, forgive me!

What is wrong with this man, he speaks truth and than apologies for it!!!

Why are Christians so afraid of offending people who worship Satan (if you don’t worship God you ARE worshipping Satan)?

I put this in "politics" because i hope he is apologizing only for political reasons, not religious ones.

I hope he is only apologizing to make the killers happy (political) not to make an admission of guilt to have said anything wrong (religious).

To hell with offending people. Everything is offensive to someone, so screw it. The Pope apologized that what he said started violent riots (from muslims, imagine!) not that he spoke the truth. I'm not afriad of offending people, even if their entire religion mandtaes my enslavment or death. I'd rather shoot back, literally or figuratively.

I am a true born again Christian and I agree with you. The pope is just like any other ordinary man. When Jesus died on the cross the vale was riped into. We no longer go through a priest, we have an advocate to the Father trough Jesus. We can talk directly with him.The pope is a dangerous person because he has so much world influence. If he is going to talk the talk he needs to start walking the walk.Never back down from the truth. There is no hope in the pope. Only Christ Jesus.

Satan is attacking all, Muslim, and Christian.
I am Christian, and I do not get angry when Muslims attack God.
I am not sure of this, but I am told that Muslims and Christians worship the same God, with different interpretation.
I am a Christian because I worship Jesus Christ.
The Moslem's worship through the teachings of Mohammad.
I have a belief that God is big enough, and holy enough to defend himself.
My belief is that people who attack others because someone offended their religion are not confident in their conviction.
I do not approve of anyone debasing my faith, but my faith is strong enough to withstand anything thrown at it, for "vengeance is mine saith the Lord".

Neither. yet you're, first for quoting a verse incompletely, and secondly for ignoring the verse's context. whilst Ezekiel says "The soul who sins shall die", he's concerning the theory that a son will pay for the father's sins -- the theory of inherited guilt. Ezekiel denies this, saying that penalty falls on the soul that commits the sin, no longer on yet another. the finished text cloth of verse 20 is: "The soul who sins shall die. The son shall no longer go through for the iniquity of the father, nor the father go through for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous would be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked would be upon himself." Then verses 21 and 22 stick to today with: "yet whilst a wicked person turns removed from all his sins that he has dedicated and retains all my statutes and does what's purely and impressive, he shall extremely stay; he shall no longer die. not one of the transgressions that he has dedicated would be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has executed he shall stay." study extra thoroughly next time, and attempt to no longer use the words of the prophets for affordable rhetorical debating factors.

Why do U sound as Fanatical as the Muslim Radicals?
Coz U sound like 1, with UR blah blah blah!

Not worshipping God is worshipping Satan?
Where on earth did U come up with that wild, groundless statement?

I think the Pope was a fool & did make his statement with the full intention of offending Muslims.
Silly silly man!
& I CAN SAY THAT ABOUT HIM, HE IS AFTER ALL ONLY A MAN.

Well, for one, even if they are insane, we all have to live on the planet together so we should try to get along. Secondly, he simply apologized for offending, not exactly for what he said. I thought it clever, putting ownership back on Islam.

He should not have to apologize for anything. He said nothing wrong. It is Muslims who have issues. The Muslims are violent, they cannot take a joke, and I think that they are a cult.

He didn't really apologize for what he said. He said he was sorry it offended anyone, but he didn't take it back.

the pope was smart to say sorry
it was a very pragmatic move. had he not done so a lot of unfortunate ppl would be killed.
this is not the time to say who is right and who is wrong,
this is the time to make peace and look to the future,
sir your question is a very styoud one, you seem to be aperson who enjoys creating rifts between religions and peoples,
shame on you and your generation

He shouldn't have to say he is sorry. What he is sorry for is that it made theses people continue to kill and use him as a reason why.
