hi friend here is your answer:--

Shutdown your Computer. Plug in New Mouse, Turn on computer.
If the mouse is USB you can plug it in WHILE the computer is on and it will work just fine.

It will automatically work.

If there was additional software that came with the mouse, you can install that after your computer has booted up.

If it is a fairly new pc just switch it off and plug in your mouse, when you start up again it will find the mouse and install the nesccessary drivers and thats it. If it is a wireless mouse you may have been given a disk with it if so just install the mouse and run the software

If you have an old PC you will need drivers. Wich is a disk which you install onto your computer which will add sofware so that you mouse will be recognised by your PC. If you have widows XP it will recognise it straight away and you can use the install wizard to install it or just go into Controll panel and look around for ad hardware and here it will take you trhoguh the steps. Goodluck

The latest mouse I purchased had a small USB plug and then worked wireless with my mouse.. which by the way was small enough for my hand. Instead of trying to maneuver a brick around.
