Not looking forward to it. Will watch it anyway though. I feel I have to, I'm too much of a Resi fan not to.
The first time I saw the first film, I liked it. Then I watched it again and realised what was wrong with it - it wasn't Resident Evil. It was a good action film, with a few zombies in it (it wasn't even a zombie film! More people got killed by lasers than by zombies!), but so unrelated to the games that it didn't deserve the title Resident Evil. It was a waste of potential. If they'd just given it a different name I would have been happy with it and they could have made a proper Resident Evil film.
I was glad that 'Apocalypse' introduced Jill Valentine, Carlos and the Nemesis - although the story detracted further from the games.
I'm also glad that the next film with have Claire Redfield and Albert Wesker, although supposedly Jill won't be in it. I still want to see Chris and Leon though!

I am. I've enjoyed the first two but I don't think they're great. I just love seeing Mila kick butt because she does it so well. Die hard fans of the games will justifiably feel a bit disappointed with the films because I don't think they have quite managed to capture the tension of the games but there's always hope that they will get it right this time. I gather that it's to be set in the desert like res evil 4 (or is it 5?). Either way it should be entertaining.

I thought the first two were really good so will be looking forward to number 3 which apparently will be due out in 2007 and they have started or are starting filming this year

i enjoyed the first two and am looking forward to the next one however im also hoping it wont be like a lot of other trilogies where the essence of the first two films is lost and ends up being a pile of rubbish that you wish you hadnt wasted two hours on

I think i am looking forward to it. I really enjoyed the first two and that is really my favorite genre of films anyway.
