gosh, they're both awesome. for the music as the whole I tend to prefer SOAD, but when it comes to the bassist, i must say i really, really like FLEA.

Flea is probably one of the best bassists of our time along with Les Claypoole.

IMHO, Flea baby!!!! RHCP rocks and now that I am beginning to play bass, I've looked at the music and it's going to take a LOT of practice to be able to play any RHCP song.
