The poppy reminds my of artist Emil Nolde, the first page doesn't have anything worth mentioning, and the second is a nice contour drawing, not really pleasing but I understand the importance and approach to the technique.

I can see where you're trying to go with them but it's not quite working. I don't see any passion or life in them, especially the first link. The last link definitely had promise though. You should try working in black and white or sepia. You'd be amazed at the emotions that come through in monotone that you can't capture in colour.

Liked Your blog,although the ritual left me thinking.The piece of grape vine,what did that represent-wealth?,fertility?,binding?The brown candle`s-fading away/removal.Removal of an emotional (water)tie??

Well I think they are interesting.........in my opinion though the leaf and tooth are focused........are you an artist?........or is this someones work that you personally know? The cricket rainbow sings and the other is sort of abstract..... very nice thanx for sharing!
