There is this guy who when he died wanted to go with all the accolades that a hero gets. The problem is he really doesn't like to do much besides travel to exotic places and get high. Now recently there has been a "tragic" accident in the celebrity world that we have all been reading and feeling about that has given this guy an Idea. He thinks that if he can get the sponsors, he too could have a TV show where he could win the hearts of nations. He wants to call the show "LICKING THE EXOTIC TOAD". Now as the title suggest, what he would do is travel the world and lick exotic toads and frogs; You know in some places they do that, however the places where they do, they know which ones to lick. His idea is that if he can get in 75 episodes of licking before he slurped the "BIG" one he will have won the hearts and admiration of nations and die a hero as well.

Would He??

Lol!!!! Love the question! As much as I reget saying this but most likely.
Actors get the same "treatment" just for doing their job.People have gotten so simple minded.Heros are people who put their lives or health on the line.People seem to have forgotten true values.Firefighters,Police,Soldiers in Iraq are REAL heros. Not someone getting paid to entertain us for our amusement.Young kids look up to entertainers.Adults SHOULD know better!

The show would be great enough to watch but licking toads is seriously sick. And why does he want to die licking toads when there are so many other better things to do and become a hero.He can be like Dr.Phil or Mother Teresa or Micheal Jackson or sponge bob square pants..so many better ways to become a hero then y the hell lick the toads..
And winning hearts is not because you risk your life for the sake of becoming hero but u can only win hearts by helping the toads in need and love them and give them a huge smooch..i don't know about others but this will be my real hero.

In one word, NO.

explaination below, which you dont have to read.

Actually the national geographic channel had a show like this. The guy went around the world seeking supernatural spiritual experiences brought on by the native chemicals of the people indigenous to the area.

They did a Few articles about it in Adventure magazine as well. I cant think of the guys name, but you should be able to google it, or look it up on the stations website.

It wasnt overly popular. I think they ended dropping it and calling it a 'two part special'. They were hoping that the popularity of shows like 'taboo' which also aired on that channel would help encourage ratings.

It didnt really work too well.

Theres a fine line between being entertaining, or someone who fights for a world wide cause (such as brad pitt, or the croc hunter) and having an apparent publicized self indulgent agenda, such as bush and tom cruise. The difference between the two is popularity and respect among the masses, or a lack there of.

So, its already been proven that someone who just wants to trot the globe indulging his personal senses in all sort of heightened experiences just doesnt amass the popularity and cult following of someone who trots the globe trying to convince us of reasons to save our planet.
