In my book, yes they do.
If you had told me in April The Tigers would be in a tight pennant race this deep in September, I would have laughed at you.
It's good to see a working class team win a few games.

Should i try to get this"best answer" or give my actual response LOL. Should i say that the Tigers are the best team in baseball and that they have the best chance of anyone at winning the world series? Or should i say the truth in that the Tigers are in too much of a slump to o anywhere once they make the playoffs? That their pitching staff has completely crumbled and that their hitting ahs been horrendous the past month and a half? And that every team in the playoffs in the AL can beat them? It all depends on whether i want the best answer or not ;-)

Only if there wasn't a team from the BRONX called The greatest team on earth.YANKEES all the way,but Detroit is having a killer year and with Leyland at the realm they are only gonna improve.

Tigers may not but Leyland does. If he doesn't get AL Manager of the year then they will give it to the wrong guy.
