You need to understand the facts. This is not a current statement. It is based on a statement by President Musharraff. His states that immediately following 911 the United States threatened to bomb Pakistan if they did not cooperate in the war on terror as it related to Afghanistan. This statement is rumored to have been made by Richard Armitage (Deputy Secretary of State) to Pakistan's intelligence director.

India won't attack Pakistan.India as a rustic empathises with Pakistan yet is helpless to do something. Indians and Pakistanis are brethren separated with the aid of the crafty British.they are going to finally see reason. The question is how long the West which bases its friendship on their STRATEGIC hobbies befriend Pakistan. The greater achievable situation is China+Pakistan attacking u.s. and its allies if the human beings keeps violating Pakistan's sovereignty.

The leader of Pakistan said Armitage threatened to bomb Pakistan back to the stone age. Armitage has not confirmed this. I myself do not buy this and here is why.

Pakistan smells blood in the water as America is concerned, so they are going to switch sides. Back in the cold war, India chose sides with the USSR and Pakistan with the USA. Pakistan feared a soviet invasion, which is why they chose us over China. India hates Pakistan, and vice-versa, so India went with the USSR. Now with the fall of the USSR, and the growth of China as a power, the dictator of Pakistan needs to mend fences with his people, and also justify switching allegiances to China. Especially since we are cozying up to India.

Did you know that the Gurkha's are in Hawaii training US Army generals on mountain warfare?

I'm not sure that's the true reason Pakistan let us use their airspace to get to Afghanistan in 2001 but it's as good an explanation as any. btw, we would never attack Pakistan. What would be the benefit?

I didn' hear that. But I don't think we need to get invovled in any more countries then we are already in and for what reason would we go to Pakistan. I don't think we have enough troops to go there and stay in Afiganistan and Iraq. We would be spreading ourselves pretty thin.

Any country that gives in to the demands of the assholes in the White House, is pressurized more on different things. This is not meant to indicate that other countries are free of the threat of a Jihad-by the above mentioned assholes-against them.
