when I click on the Internet Explorer, it keeps kicking me back to the screen where I was before. In short, the Internet Explorer screen is not showing at all.

well, if you want you can try Firefox without uninstalling Explorer and see how it goes.

hello.
you must have your windows cd. to hand that came with that pc.
put the windows cd in the drive
close off the auto run windows menu
click on start/control panel
click on add/remove
click on . add/remove. windows components.
look in the list for
internet explorer
un-tick the box
then click on
apply & ok
then
re-tick the box and click on
apply & ok
internet explorer
will be reinstall from the windows cd then your need to restart your pc
when internt explore is re install then
remove your windows cd.from the cd drive
and try this

OK same here only mine keeps coming up net scape! first do u have a yahoo.tool bar?if no this wont matter an that would suck...go to start click control panel...add and remove programs...click yahoo.toolbar then wait a min.it should disappear then close off and try Internet...hope that helps...

Even if you do repairs with IE, errors will keep on coming back. I suggest you download mozilla firefox instead. I understand your IE does not work but you can download it using My Computer. Double click on My Computer and on the address bar type in (as in type in... don't click on the hyperlink) www.mozilla.com/firefox

Firefox is more stable and rarely, i mean rarely displays errors.
