What do you imagine these ill fated stars could have done if they had lived?

I love both Marilyn and Elvis. I think if they would have lived to an older age we would have different memories of them. After a while we only remember the deceased persons good points...almost make them saints. They left us while their stars were still shining bright!

There is no telling.
However, there is a distinct advantage in the making of a legend to leaving the scene relatively young, beautiful and talented.
Could you imagine Marylin today, on the cover of Star magazine, with nine chins and even more misguided face-lifts, being dogged by papparazzi? It certainly would tarnish her star, which shines very bright today.
