The Mull Historical Society these days tends to be one guy called Colin McIntyre. Don't think he actually comes from Mull but elsewhere in Northern Scotland. He's written some fine jangly pop tunes - check out "How Can I love You More?" as an example - and I worked with his cousin for a while in a Glasgow call centre. Hope this helps!
