What have you tried to get out of a speeding ticket?

technically it wasnt me but my ex got out of a speeding ticket by telling the officer i was in labor which i was.....got flowers from the officer too

I have only dodged a ticket once in my whole life, the other times I just take it and smile. (of course, I'm older now and don't take as many chances any more). I must have been about 17 or 18, and the cop must have been in a good mood that night. I used the oldest trick in the book!! He asked me why I was speeding and I told him I was having a Frosty attack, and Wendy's was closing in 10 minutes.

I recently got a warning that could have been a $250.00 speeding ticket. The only reason I can think of that I dodged the bullet, is I made no effort to weasle out of the thing, was very respectful, and hoped for the best.

It only happened once, and after a couple of minutes i realised the policeman was more interested in getting my phone number than giving me a speeding ticket. Of course my outfit helped.

Say, how you doing,let them talk and listen and answer with short replies.Don't claim he is wrong ,just listen.The first few minutes of your attitude to him,will determine what their next move is.Don't try to explain anything to him,until he has made a decision in your favor.Most people later ,may decide to fight this in court and everything you said, the policeman writes down.(Mum is the word.)

nothing i don't get caught, but the last time i was pulled over i took off my sweater real quick and showed off the twins- needles to say I've never had a ticket!

not speeding and going to court to fight it 9 times out of 10 the cop wont show up and you win

i told the officer I was hypoglycemic and if i didn't eat something soon i would pass out...he walked to his car gave me a candy bar and a ticket...well I was surprised it wasn't a donut....
