Why don't homeless people head for places with warmer weather ? I see homeless people that stay in the cold.

That is such a good question. Maybe there is something psychologically that makes them remain in a certain city. Some people are reluctant to "move" even if they are homeless.

because they love being homeless. If they really didnt want to be homeless they would join the miltary or something. The miltary would accept them because the united states is runing out of people and that can change there corse from living a miserable long life to having a possible future if they play there cards right when they join it. But they enjoy being homeless and are lazy. and are not very smart as well. Also they are most likey drug addicts also. I only feel bad for the homeless people that ar ehomeless because there houses burned down and stuff and some of those people who were in the miltary didnt get covered by the goverment like they were supposed to.Also homeless people can work as sanitation workers and make lots of money since there used to the filth. But u dont see them doing that do you? or try to clean bathrooms, kitchens and whate ver. There lazy people thats why and there not smart.

also you dont get warmer in the cold by staying less active. The more you move around in the cold the warmer you actually get. The reason why they still in a location is because they feel settled there already. If you ever played football in the cold or basket ball or sumthing you would know that your body heats up because your blood keeps moving and generates heat when your heart pumps faster.

im sure they would if they had the funds to travel to somewhere warmer. Cant you just see public transport allowing the homeless to board a bus or train bound for the sunny south or west coast for free. When you are broke and homeless there isnt anyone who will accept you except if you are lucky and have famiily.

They probably used to have a home in that place and now that they are homeless they don't have money to buy a car or bus ticket to get anywhere else. They could walk or hitchhike but once you been unemployed for so long you get lazy and if you haven't eaten a real meal in days or whatever you lose your energy level.

Basically it takes money to move to a warmer climate, money is something homeless people do not have. They are short on compassion and empathy as well.

because the cold is very hard to live through when we shiver heat is produce but to shiver we need energy, to get energy we need food, so homeless people head for warmer places ,so that they will save energy thus making sure that they survive.

How are they supposed to get there? It's probably all these poor depressed people can do just to stay warm and eat sometimes. I don't think they would be allowed to do that anyway. If they all tried it they would end up in jail, mental hospitals, or dead. Imagine if they were all headed your way to live in your alleys. Imagine large groups of dirty looking people traveling together. I think many people would be frightened and angry by this.

They have no money, therefore can't travel to warmer places. Even in places like America, where, theoretically they could walk to warmer places, it's not really possible. In order to walk great distances you need food, and for food you need money, and they have no money...
