www.amazon.com may have excerpts of the book you want for about one chapter.
otherwise, i've also heard about www.wikibooks.org but i've never really used that. i dunno if you can download e-books from Limewire as well--I think you can find almost anything on Limewire (download for free from www.limewire.com)
