I have a black gipsey skirt and this brown tight top with wide vertical beige stripes. I tried them together and eventhough the brown n black dont usually look good together, I think they match. I have those golden/brownish bag and shoes and mathing colore braclets. So the whole looks is copper-ish with the black skirt.
The only friend who's seem me in this says it looked awesome but I don't know.. Do you think the colores match?

Sounds cute to me...top it off with a belt with the same colors and some hooped earrings to pull it all together sounds really cute to be honest. Okay after looking at the photo..as i said,..get some copper colored hoop earrings...big ones..and maybe a black, copper and brown braided belt that kind of ties and hangs and you will put the outfit together just fine..really cute to be honest the touch is getting it head to toe

Hey, what I say is, if it suits you, and you like the style... then sport it girl... If you like it show it off, many people won't even think that it doesn't go together, because they'll be taken by how you present yourself in it.... I am all about changing it up...
side note, If you were saying you were going to wear a plain brown top and a black skirt... most likely I'd say don't do it...
But I like to have a little different style each day... its fun and makes me feel completely feminine!! And guess what, it starts new trends! Its so fun to notice, a few days after I put together something new, someone else trying it out themselves~! And its really awesome for your wardrobe too... you can find really great stuff, that no one else seemed to want on mega clearance... then you show up with it on in a great outfit, and girls are like, "I saw that and didn't think it'd be that hot, do they have any left?!"
I say all systems go!!!

one word... DISASTER.. plain brown top is ok.ok maybe not.. but still... with vertical BEIGE STRIPES??!! EWWW! try rust colors if ur skin is light. limes are good for tan skins. golden-brownish bag.. throw that away.. fashion killa.. the bracelets are ok.. i guess.. just stick without the stripes.

i think you can wear black and brown now. times have changed and that's what they used to say. plus, i saw oprah wearing brown boots with a black dress. i think you're okay. i've done it a couple times when i want to dress outside the box. go for it.

it may match ok, but i would look for another color other than brown to complement the black, something vibrant would look better

Well I can't really say without seeing the whole outfit together but if you like it and so do your friends, I think it's okay and you should wear what feels okay to you. :)
