i think there are similarities between people that we're afraid that those people are better than us in some way, and to say that they are just like us when we know that we're different is much easier to comprehend then to say that they are just like us. the thing is, no matter how hard we try, we like people who are the same to us, so anyone who's different people tend to outcast them, and at the same time anyone who we dont like but has similarities with us we would still say are less human to us. also at the same time, we may go through the same problems in life, but the way we handle those problems counts because that in itself shows how different we are to one another. i myself believe that there isnt anyone like me because i have my own individuality that sets me apart from people, though i do have many similarities that my dad has and likewise my mum, and at the same time those similarities dont make me who i am today. the only times im afraid is when im being attacked psychologically and mentally by family and people around me, because they end up hurting me as well as physically. though, i must say, i dont like to show that im afraid and so i would continue to live my life trying to do what's right even though what others do around me seems wrong.

People always need some kind of scapegoat or enemy to blame their problems on. After Communism fell in the 80's, and we didn't have a solid arch enemy anymore, Satan became the big enemy, and all our faults were blamed on him. With Colombine in the 90's, since the two kids who did it were already dead, the media started blaming the parents and Marilyn Manson.
Whoever the scapegoat is, it seems vastly important for human beings to develop some kind of "anti-me" to tell themselves that, no matter how bad they are, at least they aren't as bad as THEM.

I could be shooting myself in the foot here. as to who "those people" are, but contemporary information here is that you want to hire them as guards so we will be free from Enimies. otherwise this is a "no-go" I get a little soft (Vulnerable) spot for why the hair on the back of my neck itches when people haven't paid their dues and believe we got to drop the protection to be friends or something. so you can feel that you don't want the same guilt trip that the bloody g.i.s got on his hands.} we live with who we are protecting, not who we want to be{.if your life was fine and you feel this way it means you can remember security, and this doesn't hold water when you say it and know that the borders are being violated by oppressed people who have less, where are your securities when the all people who have cruel intentions are eating off of your plate, and they LOOK just like us

Its common tendency to blame others and if you remember when you point a finger at someone there maybe 3 pointing towards you. No one is perfect and its normal for humans to behave in predictable ways including blaming others. Thats what makes you humans and not gods.

It's a type of psycological trick we play on ourselves, by reducing others to a pronoun like a simple 'they' or 'them', or even 'We'. We are just making life easier on ourselves.
It helps us avoid the uncomfort that may come if we have to say, "American soldiers killed about 50,000 fellow humans in Iraq"

We as humans seem to have a deep down fear. We use this as our gaurd. I know if we could just let it down and embrace a unity and see what we all are. I think this internal fears and weakness alone could connect us.
