The Constitution requires that a president be born in the United States. If a person of Indian origin is born in the US, he can legally become president, if elected.

If by the term "origin" you mean ancestry, the answer is "yes." Anyone born in the US can become president without regard to their ancestory. If you meant someone from India, then the answer is "no."

Only a native born americano can hold the office, though some former presidents have looked very suspicious. Like say, Herbie Hancock, how'd he get into office.

Not at all. The rule is you HAVE to be born in the U.S. and live here for certain years before you run for president.

Well there are also some unwritten rule about it, such as: be a white male, graduate from certain school, your look... so on....
