It's most likely A.
The mention of "truth" points in that direction. One wouldn't call something truth if they didn't seem to believe it.
I can see how you may have thought B, but multiple choice questions require you to select the best answer.

b sounds like it could be the answer but quite honestly, none of the answers really focus in on the question...
