I would love to be able to paint 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unfortunately real life gets in the way.

Sensible answer= daytime because the light is natural and colours are true.

But when the inspiration gets you, it doesn't matter what time of day or night it is !!!

Night. No interruptions. No bright light shining on the paint.

Tend to do my best work at night, or when my kids aren't around. I like the quiet usually at night though. Crank some smooth tunes and just get into the zone.

it depends on my mood and my insperation. If I want to paint something more colourful and vibrant, I paint during the day, if I want to paint something more intimate and dark, I paint at night.

it doesn't matter the time or day. it always depends on the mood. sometimes we get up in the middle of the night when an idea pops up.
