Who believes in Spirits?

Question

Do you believe if someone has unfinished business when they pass away, that their souls are still here? Loved ones, when they pass away do you believe they watch over you. Do you believe spirits can move things in the house. How do you explain the unexplainable??

The definition of a living human in the most religious communities might be paraphrased as "A creature composed of body and soul".

So technically, a spirit is not alive by this definition.

I do believe in disembodied spirits though.
I used to be one.

As a living being our true essence is our soul which is made up of energy. Our bodies are just the vehicle that we use to transport that energy around. When we die, the body (vehicle) is buried but the energy that makes us who we are is released. If that energy has unfinished business, is attached to a person or place or doesn't realize that it's time on earth has ended, it lingers here in our time and space. The more experienced a "spirit" is, which like anything else takes time, the easier it is for them to let you know of their pressence. I believe that life doesn't come to an abrupt end at death but rather takes on a whole other journey on a different level.

I have to say I mostly believe .. but sometimes I don't.

There are many frauds .. but also many honest people too.

The turning point for me was when I had a clairvoyant/medium experience my self .. and someone else who was a semi-professional had the same experience at the same time.

I now have met to people who even do exorcisms.

Now my experences come and go. and are not nearly as solid as others.

I have been around aikido for many years. Wendy Palmer has a book called "Aikido as a clarisentient practice" and yet she never quite comes out and explains the term. But she has a whole book full of good info. After much thought I think I understand what she is saying and I think my aikido might have affected me.

Yes I do believe...I have to believe, I've been seeing them all my life!!! I did not choose to be a clairvoyant/medium, believe me! I had to accept the fact that I am. We are all spirits that inhabit a host body, we are not humans with a spirit...and we are told that the spirit is eternal, right? So why wouldn't we see them once they have shed their host body? I find it amusing that people don't bat an eye when someone has a sighting of the virgin Mary, but we're all crazy if we see our Uncle Henry!! Yes, they do watch over us and wait to greet us when it's time for us to pass into spirit. Wouldn't it be sad to think that when we're dead, we're dead?? We have been on this earth for millions of years, wouldn't it be sad to think that we only have 70-90 years (hopefully) on it and then that's it? Doesn't make sense. I do feel the spirit is, in fact, eternal and I do feel we get to come back again & again.

Sure. There are a lot of unexplained phenomena in this world. I have never personally experienced a ghost/spirit and I dont want to. Yeah I think dead people can haunt places.

well I believe that the spirits are definately still here, because when they die, they stay upon this planet, they just wander around, as if they believed that they were still alive, yes some can affect the living and objects within our world, though, rarely...to be honest it is exactly like in the 6th sense...tho don't get me wrong there is something after this world, its just that that doesnt happen yet...giv it a couple of hundred years, then::: the second coming...dun, dun, duuuuuuuuun!!!

Yes, I know there are spirits among us. I've seen them frequently. Non believers just think about it. God is a spirit. (No, I'm not saying I've seen God).

i defiantly believe there is something there. Would like to go on a ghost hunt or something like that to find out for myself
