Thanks for all your opinion, really got me thinking. I asked it because of my friend's choices of favourite rock band, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Fall Out Boy. Then I was wondering does rock and roll even exist now? But now I know, it's still alive and going.

Sure it is! Haven't you ever listened to American Pie by Don McClean. The day the music died was when Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Richie Valens crashed into that mountain.

Seriously though: Rock & Roll is here to stay. It may change, but it will never die. Especially not as long as they can keep proping Mick Jagger and Keith Richards up on the stage. LONG LIVE ROCK!

Rock 'n Roll is not dead... it is alive. What is rock 'n Roll?? what is the definition?? Same goes for R&B (Rhythm and Blues) What people call R&B these days is completely different to the R&B 20 years ago...The music they call R&B today is more Rubbish & Bugger
