No, You Can't Even With FireFox. But He Is Right You Can Download Them From Other Sites With FireFox.

First, copy the video URL. - it had to be like "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1mgEQTMVB8"
goto "http://www.keepvid.com".
*Paste your URL and choose the site you want to download your video (in this case youtube.com).
*Then hit DOWNLOAD, you have to wait about a few seconds. then the file URL will show up.
*Then you can download your file in (.flv) extention.
*you can use FLVPlayer to play your file.

If you listen to x.ray_wa (the guy above me), you'll have no problem downloading youtube videos.

You'll need to make sure you have Firefox first though:
