Tom and Nicole split because she wanted to move back to Austrailia and he did not. She wanted the children and Tom to go with her, but he didn't not want to leave. Now if for other reasons than his business, I do not know if he was having an affair with anyone at the time. I think she did very well with Keith Urban, he's better suited to her, not too bad looking either. Life changes, sometimes you just have to move with it.

Marriage, as with many relationships, is a delicate balance of good and bad....many times the scale will tip in either direction, but pulls back to balance. In the case of Nicole and Tom, it seems the scale tipped on the bad side and never recovered.
