I have this dream at least twice a week. I dream of my ex best friend amber from high school. We quiet being friends 6 years ago and I wish we still were friends. I am a 36 year old married woman. Amber was the only friend I really ever had, she was like my sister. I have lost contact with her and I cannot seem to locate her. I keep dreaming of seeing her and telling her about my life being happily married with two children. she disappears and I think I have her number but I cannot find It and we loose contact again. It is always the same dream over and over again. what does this mean?

I am not trying to be horrible here, but maybe the reason you and Amber did not stay in contact was because, "I keep dreaming of seeing her and telling her about my life being happily married with two children" maybe if you you wanted to see Amber because you loved and missed her,. then maybe, just maybe Amber would appear......just something to think about. who wants a friend that just gloats......!!

I think that this is/was such an important loss in your life that you have regrets over losing your friend. The fact that you want to share your new life with your old friend does not necessarily mean that person is thinking about you. I don't know how the friendship ended, but if the two of you were that important to each other at one time, I'm sure she is curious about you too. There are those sites that can locate people, usually a small fee is involved. I say you should find a way to contact her, that way you won't be anxious about it, you'll know one way or the other. Good luck to you.

No, it is the opposite. Subconsiously you are thinking more of her. Your desire to be able to see or contact her is the reason why you were keep on dreaming the same thing again and again. The only thing that would help you to stop the dream is when you accept to your self that your friend amber has a life of her own now and that she is happy for whatever of whereever she is now.

No, they are not thinking of you. But you are thinking of them, because that is your dream, your subconscious mind. The question should be why you have that dream. It could be triggered by some media effect, movie, news, or things (pictures)

By dreaming back over and over again could mean you missed the moment you were with her and dreaming seems to be only way to trace back your memory. That is one of the ways dream works.

It mean you would like to get in touch with her and maybe you should, good friends don't come easy. You should always hang on to the ones you have. I don't know why you quit being friends and it must have been something big or you both are just...well i am sure you can fill in the rest.

It is a one sided matter. You dreams are yours only , that can not have any effect on another .The dreams are also not the signals that someone is remembering you .If you want to contact her give advertisement in news paper or enquire about her from your other friends .

it means YOU miss her not really that she misses you although you hope she does and maybe she does but that has nothing to do with why you dream of her you dream of her because she is always in the background of your mind and u miss her and would like to see her if you cannot continue to be her friend or reconnect with her in a friend way seeing you never told us why you stopped being friends you at least need closure

It means you're about a half dozen beers shy of a six pack. If you are that good of friends you would have stayed in touch. But if it's just one of those thing where you just sorta got lost for awhile, provided everything was good between you when you ran astray, you'll hook back up someday. Just never stop thinking of her.

I think it sounds like you're afraid that if you do ever catch up with her again, somethings going to happen and you wont be able to find her or any way to contact her.

No, it means you are thinking about her. A lot of high schools have websites now that help former classmates reconnect. you might want to try classmates.com. Good luck.
