Spiderman is the better hero. Superman is not a hero, why you ask? Superman is indestructible so if there's a burning building he flies in knowing that no harm will come to him. Spiderman on the other can come to harm and throws himself into danger knowing that his life could end, and Superman is adored by all, Spiderman on the other hand is hated but still continues to put his life in danger.

Even though superman is technically better (stronger, faster yaddy yadda) I will go with Spiderman. Simply because he carries on fighting crime despite getting a lot of stick from the press and the media. Superman has it easy because pretty much everyone loves him but Spiderman has a tough job.

Superman in case of a famine would leave the planet, Spiderman were he here would spin a web spanning two buildings and catch birds , trapeze artists , etc.
Although Superman does have that curly do da on his forehead which spideman clearly lacks...tough call
Experts agree that Spiderman has more luck with the ladies and besides would you want to date a dude who could literally undress you with his eyes...

Spiderman is better developed as a character, and, I would say, more interesting in storylines and enemies. That said, I read a series of 'The death of Superman' graphic novels and thought that they were brilliant.
Strength/power wise, nobody can top Superman.
