I am passionate about making things happen for appreciative people.

I use my analytical listening skills to understand peoples needs, and then apply my skills and experience in research, analysis, problem solving, and negotiation to find solutions that meet those needs. I then do my very best to make it easy and comfortable for people to accept and move forward with these solutions.

My question is how can I make best use of my passion, skills, and experience to make things happen for people in a way that also makes enough money to pay the bills?

Those skills sound like you would be a perfect fit for social worker at a hospital. They are some of my favorite people. They have to be so very resourceful and compassionate at the same time.

They frequently have to "think outside the box" in order to arrange for help for patients and their families. They are very much appreciated by the hospital staff and the people they help.

They can and do publish and do research, even while they continue to do their primary job duties.

How about a social worker? The elderly especially need someone to help them find even the basics, money for food, housing, medicine. A sincere and dedicated person who is willing to go to bat for them so to speak, could literally mean the difference between life and death (see the medicine comment!!)
