PLease note this question is not intended to offend...
Yes a song but also a very good question!
Yes Saddam killed many people, or his henchmen did under order!
Now who is going to convict Bush/Blair and the rest for there War crimes...
They state for freedom and Democracy... These people dying will never experience freedom and democracy... this runs into the hundreds of thousands if you count the first Gulf conflict by Bushes Father/Thatcher!
Huh! Small price too pay! This is really not right... Political Assasination would have been better... but i cannot condone this either!
So please tell me... who should be on trial... Saddam or the Bush/Blair regime?

Edit please let me give you something else to think about...
Saddam responsible for around 100.000- 150.000 deaths...
US/UK led invasions... Millions displaced, hundreds of thousands of soldiers and citizens killed! Simply wrong...

good answer i see your point... but in respect of your answer... we caused the vacuum by not having the preperation for a replacement government...
What is going on is a less than democratic or free, battle for power! This is a void left by our good intentions! Peace!

It is unfortunate that your scope of vision of what is good for the world is so short. Yes, Muslim situation is horrible, but the experts agree the battle for Iraq now is one of Shiite vs. Sunni and is not a battle against our occupation. Both sects know we have come to rid them of Saddam and nothing more. Both sides know we want them to reach an agreement and have a peaceful government.
The anti-American sentiments from Iraqis who attack our soldiers is limited to the radicals who hated the US before Saddam's fall. Spend your life under a constant brainwashing from the time you are able to breathe and you too would not waiver if if the enemy came and saved your life.

War is one good way of getting rid of a bad world power. Particularly a world power which only knows one language--violence. The school yard of the world has bullies who want to take our lunch money.
Radical islam creates terrorists and we must show our strength or every one of those wackos will be over here blowing themselves up.
To the last question, get real. Saddam.

saddam definately! let me be clear---i disapprove of bush and never voted for him. however, saddam has been proven to be a torturer(he personally tortured people especially before he got the power he eventually ended up with) etc etc. at some point iraqis have to be responsible for their own situation--people knew he was doing these things and stood by and let him. i dont like it when amerika chooses to invade other countries etc etc . i truly dont think we should be over there but the blame game helps no one. iraqis should step up to the plate.......... the best to you~
