Yes, but h*rny too! Actually I'm not going to be alone for another 15 years, and by then I'll have grand kids to watch because my 15 year old is a randy little guy. Oh my gosh I just realized I may never have a moments peace again! THANKS A LOT :-) LOL

Well I did but now things are starting to happen that have me kind of freaked out. We just bought a house in May. Things have been fine until this month. A few days ago (we had run to the grocery store) when we got home our side garage door was open and the light on in the garage. This morning the door is open on the shed and we had a bar in front of it so the door would stay closed. Maybe what I need to do at night now when the dog starts barking is get up and investigate.

In fact I am in the best company when I am alone. Not that I am a misanthrope . In fact, I love company of friends. But am i not my best friend so that I should abhor his company. I feel absolutely no danger when I am alone because no mischief-monger fried or foe is about. Of course now that I am old I do take necessay precaution to ensure that I am not surprised. If I hear any unusual noise during night I get up and investigate it. I have lived in reportedly haunted houses but no ghost every paid even a curtsy visit to me.
However, you have to cultivate your own company. Seeking diversion e.g. reading, watching Tv,listening to music can bring some relief but at some stage you get bored when you return to your own company. In site of yourself you enter into a conversation with yourself. Try to make it interesting otherwise sometimes it tends to frighten you off. As the Geeta says"You are your best friend and also the worst enemy.' Be on your guard and challenge the enemy at every stage it dares to rear its ugly head. The friend in you will thank you and will draw nearer to you.

I actually feel the most secure when I'm alone, because I know I can trust myself.

Not really, I'm one of those people who feels most secure when surrounded by other people. I'm a people lover!

I don't really like being on my own at home, I always feel like I'm being watched or followed around the house, in fact, I feel totally insecure when I'm all on my own.

I need to have people near me, even if it is only my son or my bf....
