My best friend has been dating the same guy for 5 years and they met on the internet. But, they did not fall in love until after they met each other in real life. So, I do not think it is possible to fall in love over the net. It is too easy to tell people what they want to hear from behind a video screen, but until you see what kind of physcial connection you have, I think there will always be doubts.

Hmm...well why am I pondering this at all? I don't think it's possible; there is nothing like talking with someone in person, seeing their smile, their body language, holding their hand or being led on their arm. I think the internet can create a fascination that is very heartfelt and maybe even passionate, but not love. Not true love.

I could not fall in love with some one that I meet online unless I was desperate enough to look for love online...and then I think it would be an illusion....I can make myself look and sound great online...better than in real time.

The first post is a cute answer

Infatuation definitely...I think love is a physical emotion, not sure I could go the whole hog without getting up close and personal!

This is more belong to the historical loves. Because no cry no worry to leave no alive no lie no bitter. ust you and the one on the other side. But I prefer social relationship, but with this rules. More pure with a non virtual relation; that is my way on love

There is nothing called love. Only bubbling chemicals in the blood stream with constraints imposed by social norms.

I think its possible, but only after meeting and doing the more traditional courtship. Anything else is just fantasy.

Sure. I mean you may have not seen the person but you love their personality and the way they think. And if you did see the person then it is more likely.
At least thats my opnion.
