"At the end of the day"
"Like"
"Think outside the box"
"Smile" said to people who are complete strangers who have no idea why you look miserable in the first place. Usually followed by "It might never happen" when clearly it just has!
I thought I'd ring just to "touch base", said by one vapid business person to another when they want something or want to sell you something.
"Love" as in "alright love?"
"decaff skinny latte"
And most management terms. If you set your mind to it you can get through the day by only using these words, and people will still understand you, and some will think you are a genius.

Awesome!
Example; Hey Dude, those cookies are awesome!!!
No...the cookies can be delicious, decadent, yummy, or just really really good, but a cookie in itself can not be awesome. It is the most overused and incorrectly used work of todays language.
The word "awesome" applies to things like the Grand Canyon or the love of God. Not cookies.
Will people NEVER stop saying every simple thing is awesome????? It makes my homocidal.

"Don't worry, it might never happen". If someone looks depressed the chances are it already HAS and it's not exactly lending a sympathetic ear is it? Or if it really hasn't happened yet, what's wrong with being prepared? The worst is if you genuinely feel in a good mood and someone says that to you. What, am I really that miserable? Yikes!

When people ask if it's (say) Friday and some (to them) comedian says " Yes - all day". Or when someone says "Not three bad". Grrrr
