On Yahoo news the story there today, read it and tell me how you feel. It breaks my heart that there is so much violence, and I believe we should all get ready to make choices. The bible states an eye for an eye. IF you are not Christian I really only want to hear their views, I will not consider others views since its not the story is not related to you. Are we about to make hard choices.

It is unfortunate that we as a nation have to read about our Christian brothers plight in such countries and then on the same foot tolerate their uncivilised behaviours in our own Christian nation and dare not speak out against it for fear of being labelled anti-muslim. To our Christian brothers in Indonesia take heart in Mathew 10:34." Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace, but a sword." (the whole of chapter 10 is appropriate.)

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but that's the "SULAWESI Islands." geez... IF you were born in Indonesia but from another country, you would know the differnece between Java, Irian Jaya, and so on. Get educated on Indonesian geography. There are so many poor there that people can easily get votes... If you are looking at Java, you do not have any problem because that's where the international society is.

Please, indonesia may be the largest nation with the most muslims but don't blame every indonesian for being poor and naive. I believe in god too but what you are doing is making war on others... give me a thumbs down for looking like i am sympathyser but if you lived here as an ex pat, you would undersstand more than the yahoo news report!!!! Indonesia is my second home because they have nice people...

Live there as an ex pat... don't be silly and generalize the whole indonesian society just because a small minority did something. Geez man!!! I am scared that they did it but don't blame every indonesian for crying out loud!!!!

As a Christian,I abhor violence, but sometimes it is needed. The bible was not intended to be a suicide pact for Christians.Unfortunately, the Christian religion is under attack all over the world, and the people that believe this is not a religious war are dead wrong.I believe that in the near future, even devout atheist and all other religions will be forced to support Christianity in this war. Kind of ironic, but the alternative to Christianity for everyone will be unacceptable.Christianity, unlike Islam, is a tolerant religion, and the only way for the other religions and atheist to survive is for Christians to when this war.

Christianity got nothing to do with the violence in this region. Unstable political situation need either Christian or Islam extremists to be the scape goat for further violence to show the world that without the military's political influence, Indonesia can not stand as a great nation.

The European colonial days are over!

At one time all those Christian crowns are ruling the entire world and were slaughtered by their own folk. and democracy was brought in...

The slaves in the colonies were dictated by the Colonial champions to convert to Christianity, other wise they were treated like a lepor.

That was the reason of the expansion. Now people started getting back the truth and the events are happening for good I suppose.

I am not against Christianity or Jesus Christ!!

I am against those clever smart elements involved in mass conversion of those poor ignorant ones by feeding a squire meal. Those poor people who expected that they will get further assistance, all of a sudden they are dropped by those Christian preachers. Also their kith and kin disowned them for good.

Their condition is like in between Hell & Heaven and earth!
If they a get a piece meal they stand with that faith..

It is the greatest service that Christians had provided in the poor countries with their selfish motive... It still goes on... They will be punished by their own folk.

I think that the christians fighting back in Indonesia is the way to go. Christins hav eturned the other cheek for centuries in the middle east and asia which is why the muslims are sostrong. MIllions of muslims ar esick of the reliigon thye ar eforced to live in and the terrible conditions it imposes on them such as enslavement of women.
If we ar eto hav e peace christins must fight for freedom everywhere.

Jesus said to turn the other cheek. I'm going to assume he meant once. He didn't mean for us to stand there and have our brains beat out.
