Some people would argue that 'God' is in your own mind, hence the answer would be 'Yes' i.e., 'He' will feel your pain etc., since 'He' is part of your mental construct.
So if 'He' is only in your mind you can only help yourself.
Maybe that is the reason behind the expression "God helps those who help themselves" - which is, when you think about it rationally, an admission that there is no external power to assist us.
If you are asking this question because you are feeling low in spirits, try talking your friends, parents, a teacher, or any other person with whom you feel an affinity. You'll find this will help you far more than worrying about a supernatural being's concern (or lack of concern) for you.

Your pain and problems are felt because you feel separate from God - which is the illusion.
God (not a he or a she by the way) will not interfere with your free will. However, if you are looking and seeking god and for answers, you will ALWAYS be answered. It may come to you in many ways, what you next here on the radio, the next record, the next person you speak to, a thought in your own mind....
You are NEVER alone it is impossible - god is closer to you than your next breath. Your life is a result of your thoughts and beliefs about it - change these and your world will TRANSFORM!
Try www.cwg.org as a start - Remember: God is in you as you!
God Bless!

Welcome to Yahoo Answers, new friend, loneliness is a terrible thing to endure, but God does listen and understand how a person feels, loneliness comes from within, if you are of the believing faith, personally I get great comfort from reading Psalm 91, God's Protection, I hope this helps a bit.

I am god, we are all god, everything is god, we must try to undertand more on a 'transpersonal' level. We have evolved as fragmented beings yet still interconnected to our ultimate state of the greater one consciousness, so through 'psychosynthesis' we begin to strengthen our interconections and realise that we are in fact all one. The latest understanding uses the idea of 'relatons' to explain how a spark of consciosness occurs at the moment of recognition and how everything is a re/presentation and a metaphore of what we perceive is reality.

God helps, he just doesn't make it obvious. Hasn't something ever happened to you when you're feeling down that instantly makes you feel better? Just a person making eye contact? Or all of a sudden a bird lands right beside you? Stuff happens, I think God is just a very shy and modest person, he does things without you noticing.

God sees us and knows everything we think, feel and do. He does hear us too. You may think that he is not helping when you pray for or want certain things , but remember this is God and he knows what he wants for us and what is best for us, even if it is painful for us. Life is full of trials and tribulations with the purpose to help us learn and grow in our faith and spirituality. Just keep your faith, choose right over wrong, and pray. "Let God's will be my will" This involves acceptance that he knows best.

Yes God feels it and He sees all and know all. You don't have to be lonely if you accept Him and He absolutely listens. He even knows your thoughts. C'mon, He created you and He does help. It just in His own timing and trust me, His timing is perfect. It may not seem like it to you, but God is always on time. Maybe you should try reading the Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren

I COULD testify that He exists and does help but why would you listen to another human being? Read "This is our Faith" ISBN 085231 149 4. A Redemptorist Publication. A simple and not too invasive publication which will not only give you a 'lift' but inspire you to look deeper.

If God exists, he either doesn't care or else is limited in his powers (in which case, he isn't a god). There are other means of teaching other than administering or allowing the infliction of pain.
