Yes. The apology is what is important in all relationships. If it is not accepted, then tell the person directly what must be done to make things right. I have found that most apologies occur over trivial things that matter very little.

Yea, but it's ok. What else can you do? Otherwise it always seems to turn into an arguement. It's better this way. At least you know you're handling the ups and downs of life to the best of your ability. It's strengthening.

Yes I do find myself saying that, and also no problem. And your right. I still feel upset about the situation. But it just seems easier to let it go, than make a big deal out of it.

What annoys me is when British people use the word OK/Okay. It's an Americanism. It's more correct to say 'alright'.

If it's not OK I thank them for apologizing, because I do appreciate that they acknowledge my hurt feelings, but I don't accept the apology.

Yes, but I usually say thank you as well, coz it is hard for some people to say sorry and they need to know you appreciate them making an effort to make peace with you.

sometimes depending on the situation it helps to keep confusion down.....so you say it's o.k when sometimes you really don't mean it especially when it is brought back up later but when the shoe is on the other foot it's okay
