My daughter is doing a project on diamond mines in Africa.She needs to make a model of a diamond mine.How?

I am from South Africa and have searched mainly the most important Diamond mining sites. search on Cullinan as that is where The Star of Africa was mined, the biggest diamond to be mined ever.

well a model can me made very easily by takin some paper mash and makin a valley type of an object colorin it black and jus give some twinklin light affects...plse use google for some good pictures...
