I heard what he had read and he apologized. So why are they still so angry and want his removal? Can someone just explain it. I think they are acting silly about the whole thing but if someone could help me understand why they're mad then I may stop thinking that because right now Im confused.

Because sometimes an apology isn't enough. Sometimes people have a hard time forgiving, and if they EXPECT to be mad at a group or individual, then they will still seek out new rationalizations for doing so.

well if all would look at what was really said, He was not saying that himself, it was a quote from long ago. However some jerks that say they are journalist, only used that very small portion to say thaey had a great story. The muslims appear to only read or hear what pleases them. If they would read the whole text of the popes speach they would see what he really was saying. Seems(while not condeming) they are too quick to judge and get angry at others . If t hey would spend all this energy at peacful things thhis would be a much better world.

As the pope has apologized so no one is angry or mad now.

Hmm...pope Nazinger ticks off the muslims, he backs off, yet they keep building it up, almost seemingly intent on attacking the catholic cult regardless of the facts and Nazinger's willingness to comply.

2002: Saddam allows inspectors full access, the US claims he's hiding weapons, yet when Saddam buckles *again* and promises full cooperation, the US and UK ignore compliance and prepare to attack regardless of the facts and Hussein's willingness to comply.

Gee, the two events sound nothing alike, do they?

They listen to every word he says...so that they can use whatever ammunition they can find against Catholics. Threatening to kill the Pope is the most evil thing I have ever heard in my life.
