It does not work that way. Your Cell phone connects through a wireless application protocol (wap) that is not compatible with the regular internet. Everything is abbreviated. The communication rate is also much slower.

I am sorry if you expected your cell phone to provide your computer with the internet.

You must specify wich cell phone you have, and how you are connecting the cell to the laptop.

I have a Motorola, and im connecting with bluetooth, so theres a software "mobile phone tools" that allow me the internet connection, but that's if you have a motorola too.

it extremely relies upon on your telephone and your cellular service. maximum smartphones do have an information cable that connects to a workstation, yet even if you should use it as a "modem" relies upon upon your provider settlement. in case your cellular company would not enable tethering then you extremely will probable no longer be able to attempt this.

Your service was called WAP, but sites seen on your cellphone might not go to your laptop (check what was new with FMA, maybe you can view it from your pc! - I just use FMA to get data - cellphone to/from pc).

What you can do really is to make your cellphone as a MODEM.
