Yes. And I find that women return the favour more regularly than ever. Where I live the rule seems to be whomever gets to the door first.

After you... I'll hold the door open so you can get the elevator (^.^)

Yes, I hold the door open and sometimes have to race other people to get there first. But I don't think I do well with elevators... I squashed my boss by holding the wrong button (^.~)

Something i always do. But what annoys me is when people you hold the door for, slip through without even a thank you or even an attempt to hold it for you to pass on to the next person.

Absolutely, for ladies all the time. But for men, if they look arrogant and seem like they are not going to take the door from me bit would walk through, I let it go. Far too many bad attitudes out there, especially from the under 25 male crowd.

Definetely! It is good manners to hold the door open foor ladies, kids and elderly people. But if the need arises I will hold it for others too.

I hold it til they get close, then I slam it in their face. Mean, yes. But they probably deserve it.
I do hold doors open for people, though. I'm nice like that.

I definitely still hold the door. Another forgotten courtesy that I still maintain is elevator courtesy. I always let those coming off, get off before I go in. I also let ladies get on or off ahead of me as well.
