To our American allies.
How would you feel if we in England:
refused to extradite suspected muslim terrorists as we believed they had commited 'political crime'?
Invited their leaders to our country, feted them and allowed them to propagandise their 'struggle' on national television?
raised millions of dollars in support of them, supposedly to support the families of those arrested or killed by the security forces?
I expect you would be appalled.
Now look up NORAID, IRA and Gerry Adams on Google and tell us why you fely it was fine to support these terrorists.

because most of the US Congress / Senate could trace their family trees back to the Emerald Isle, even the odd President, and besides they the IRA weren't attacking the US. It's called double standards and there is still a lot on display in the power centres of the USA.

I guess one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist - just a matter of perspective... Until ALL guerilla warfare/terrorism is unilaterally condemned and international disputes are settled diplomatically, these double standards will continue to appear - which means forever, really, doesn't it?

Well said! Shame about the reference to al-Quada. Terrrorists are terrorists no matter what their justification or voting power. If a world power wants to police the world they need to apply consistent standards

Excellent point, well put!

Unfortunately, this time it's a common enemy we need to unite again. The terrorists are perpetrating against the ENTIRE western civilisation- not just US.
