Yup. Saltwater fish have to drink water because the water in their
environment is saltier than the liquids in their bodies.
Osmosis causes water from their body tissues to be released
into their environment. Saltwater fish have to constantly
drink large quantities of water to replace what they lose
through Osmosis. Diffusion then releases the excess salts
and minerals taken in and not needed. The salts and
minerals exit through special cells at the base of their gills
back into the saltwater. Saltwater fish urinate very little
because of these processes. If saltwater fish didn’t drink the
water they would shrivel up.
Fresh water fish never drink water because their bodies are
saltier than the surrounding water. Osmosis draws water
into the fish’s body through its skin and gills, unlike
saltwater fish, where the water is drawn out of the body. So
freshwater fish urinate in large quantities to prevent their
tissues from becoming too watery. If freshwater fish did
drink water they would blow up like balloons.

Yes, of course, fish urinate.
But not all fish pee in the same way. Freshwater fish must rid themselves of the water that is constantly accumulating in their bodies through osmosis.Biologist at the International Game Fish Association, say, the kidneys of freshwater fish must produce copious amounts of dilute urine to prevent their tissues from becoming waterlogged.
Compared to their freshwater counterparts, marine fish, who lose water through osmosis, produce little urine.

The third answer and the one before this are good explanations of what is going on with fresh or saltwater fish when it comes to getting rid of wastes. To add to their answers, fish do uinate, but not the way you'd expect.

Fish primarily get rid of soluble wastes through their gills -- so when breathing, they are excreting wastes in the water. It's an easy, efficient method compared to using kidneys (same method, actually, just a different organ in this case).

yes they do, the more you feed them the more they pee, also if they are stressed.you must always check the water for ammonia and nitrate levels as these are deadly to fish, all aquarium shops sell test kits, and regular part water changes will help the tank, but you should always use tap safe, adding this to the water when you do water changes will get rid of the chlorine
