There are many ways to reduce the size of photos but the easiest way to shrink your photo's is to use one of Microsoft Power Toys called Image resizer.
Download and install.
Right click on a photo to reduce the size

The most simple way to do it is Copy the Pix you want to resize in my pictures or send it to Documents and OPEN the pix and you will have a choice to EDIT. It will open in PAINT. Go to the top of the Toolbar and click Seclect All and then go to the bottom of the outline that comes up and drag the outline from the corner to a smaller size and click save. There you have it.
be sure to Drag the outlined box FROM THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER TO THE TOP LEFT CORNER. Stop when you get the Pix to the smaller size. Usually about half way up will do it for a large Photo. Hope this helps and let me know if you need further instructions. Also you do not have to download any special Utility as your computer already has what it needs for this.

You can reduce them to thumbnails in windows My Pictures and software such as MS Digital Image or Corel Photopaint will reduce them.

just lessen the pixels... In othr words the smaller the image the smaller the stoarage size.

To compress the photo size, use winzip or winrar. but anyhow this wont compress to a very large extent(MB to KB).
