Quit spending your money. You should have already stopped and your savings would still be intact. Free rent should be enough, tell your mooching friend she can pay expenses for the next month that you are tapped out. Your friend is using you and can only do that with your consent.

If your friend is a sexual partner then your friend is using you in a most horrible egregious way and you should put a stop to it today.

If your friend doesn't start paying his/her fair share stop buying food. Either eat out or make only enough for one.

Ask your friend how much longer does he/she plan on riding the gravy train and taking advantage of you.

I always wonder why people don't tell us the genders involved since that is ofter a key to the answer.

ok...now you're trying to play victim.....You can not be taken advantage of unless YOU let yourself be taken advantage of. Quit playing victim. A little assertive positive can of whip A$$ might help you get rid of your houseguest from hell.

First off....tell the friend....Your place isn't the HOLIDAY INN or the MOTEL 6....because if it was there would be a daily room charge. Don't buy food and DON"T keep your frig packed with milk eggs, beer and sodas....wait until the houseguest from HELL leaves.

If this friend doesn't leave... Give them a letter in writing (hand delivered) and also mail a certified copy of this letter to their work. This letter should be a letter of intent for them to vacate the premises of your apartment. You must give them 30 day notice. At the end of the 30 days...if house guest hasn't left.....Pack their things up...set them to the curb.....and change the locks on your door.

REMEMBER you're the one that allowed this to happen in the 1st place. Keep your $$$$ in your pocket and in the bank where it belongs. DO not give anymore $$$$ or anything to this person.

ALSO...cut the cable.....unplug the phone.....do whatever it takes to get rid of this person!

Tell your friend that since there's two of you in the apartment you should split the bills in two. It seems fair to me. Why should you offer the friend a place to stay and pay for everything? It doesn't make you more of a friend and telling it to the friend doesn't make you less of a friend either...

You are playing the victim role and I have no sympathy for you at all. Give this person until Saturday to move out and give the friend a "bill" on what he or she owes you. You certainly do not need "friends" like this and be done with them.

You need to let your friend know that they will have to help with the bills. If you continue to allow this person to take advantage of you...it will just continue!

Tell your friend that they either need to contribute to the bills or they need to find someplace of their own because you can't afford to carry both of you. Then give a timeline and stick to it.

that person is not a friend if they are expecting a free ride. tell them that you need them to start paying rent, hydro, phone ect. If they do not want to, show them the door.

talk to your friend and explain the problem, if he or she is a true friend they will help you out, if not they will accuse you of being stingy, if that happens kick your friend out because that is no true friend
