I agree entirely that agents should be got rid of. Let the players negotiate their own deals and contracts. If they feel unable to do this by all means let them get independent advice but that should remain between the player and the person giving the advice and the player should pay any relevant fees. Agents will get the best possible deal going not because they have any concern for the players but because it means more money for them. They have no interest in football. They are simply motivated by money and that will always create problems. Withdraw their licences.

What I found interesting was the information they weren't allowed to show for legal reasons. They only showed what their legal advisors cleared as not being liable to litigation.

The best idea that someone has come up with is that the agents should be paid by the players out of they're share of the transfer fee. That would virtually eliminate any fraud or malpractice, as we all know how greedy the players are. I would support the idea of eliminating the agents from the game totally, however I can't see how in practice this would work.

P.S. I bet the Christmas Dinner conversation at Sam Alerdyces' house will be interesting this year!

I've just said elsewhere, I always thought that football was supposed to be a game, but it's turned into a business now and is open to all the usual nonsense as any other business. The only light at the end of the proverbial is that it looks like FIFA are going to try and put a stop to all the/some of the fees that tend to get excessive.
